This optical mouse features 2.4 GHz wireless technology and provides seamless functionality from up to 25 feet away. This mouse pairs automatically with the receiver dongle, just plug it in and it works. The wireless receiver dongle is about the size of a fingernail and only sticks out past the USB port by a couple millimeters. The dongle is conveniently stored in a compartment underneath the mouse. The mouse features automatic channel selection, so up to twelve mice can be used in the same area, just be sure to set them up one at a time.
